This super simple activity is a great fine motor skills and maths activity for younger ones who struggle with concentrating or are tactile learners.

You will need: A playdough and dry wipe marker-friendly surface, playdough, giant tweezers (optional) and a dry wipe pen.

How it’s done:

1. Roll up playdough into small balls. These are all going to be units of 1. You can ask your littles to help with this part too!

2. Write some sums in dry wipe marker on your chosen surface. Older kids might enjoy coming up with some simple sums for younger children to try.

3. Let your little one have a go at the sums, counting out the playdough balls as they complete them.
